Membership

Fifteen members; two members appointed by the Council of Cities; one member appointed by the Comm. on Aging; one member appointed by the Comm. on Disabilities; one member appointed by the Executive Committee of the Continuum of Care Planning Board; one member living in the unincorporated area of North Fair Oaks; one member living in the unincorporated Coastside; one member living in a low-income community; one member appointed by each entitlement city in the County HOME Consortium (currently only South San Francisco); and six Members-At-Large; one of whom shall have experience/expertise in real estate, finance, development or operations.

4 years; maximum 12 years

Duties

Recommendations to the Board of Supervisors, through the Director of the Dept. of Housing, related to the expenditure of all housing and community development funds to review and provide a forum for public comment on affordable housing and community development needs. 

AppointING AUTHORITY

Members shall be appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Categorical members shall be nominated by their respective agencies.
