Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention Commission
It is the mission of the San Mateo County Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention Commission to be a public conscience in the interest of juveniles. The Commission is dedicated to delinquency prevention and the promotion of respect for the human dignity of all minors who come under the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Court.

The Commission coordinates on a countywide basis the work of those organizations engaged in activities designed to prevent juvenile delinquency. The Commission’s role is twofold: The first is to address youth who are in the Juvenile Justice system. The second component has to do with juvenile delinquency prevention. The Commission currently has a website connected to the Probation Department’s web-page.
