Mission Statement

The Youth Commission seeks to combat issues affecting youth in San Mateo County, and bridges the gap between adult and youth perspectives, and create a more progressive youth community. Through collaboration, placing youth on boards and commissions, advising the Board of Supervisors, policy recommendations, and creating projects; the commission increases awareness and advocates for youth issues.
